#52 - Dolobeats by Pauli Lyytinen

Do you remember the Saslonch Suite, Singing Rocks or Cantata Viennapoli? When Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige joins the Comici Mountain Hut, usually something extraordinary happens. Last year, three vibraphonists performed in front of the Sassolungo's rock face in Val Gardena's Dolomites, creating a unique combination of alpine environment and music. In 2018, according to the festival's country focus, six drummers from Sweden, Finland and Norway play in this unique mountain landscape. The music is composed by the Finnish saxophonist Pauli Lyytinen (Elifantree, Equally Stupid), while the second melodic instrument is played by the Norwegian Andreas Stensland Løwe (Splashgirl).
