#18 - Lars Andreas Haug Band

Contemporary jazz from Norway: Often you can't spot who is setting the tone and the drive. Is it the drummer Knut Aalefjær, vocalist Camilla Susann Haug, Jovan Pavlovic playing Balkan melodies on the accordion, or rather one of the three brass players? Funky, groovy, eccentric and always on the lookout for something new: The band mixes contemporary music, jazz, folk and powerful rhythms in their musical witch's cauldron to create a spicy – and definitely recommendable – magic potion.
