#16 - Nils Berg Cinemascope

Nils Berg – the "irresistible" (Rolling Stone) "Fellini of Swedish jazz" – is today one of the most influential and at the same time most unusual voices of Scandinavian jazz. Founded in 2009, this trio integrates artists' video clips from all over the world into their live performances. It can happen that Nils Berg and his band with the aid of Youtube and a projector ask a shy Japanese flute player, a couple of giggling teenagers from Brunei, a balaphone virtuoso from Accra, an Indian hard rock band and an Afghan shepherd "virtually" on stage. The trio has already released three albums: "Popmotion" (2011),"Vocals" (2013) and "Searching for Amazing Talent From Punjab" (2016).

In collaboration with Stagione Estiva Don Bosco and Bolzano Film Festival Bozen.
