The musicians from this trio are part of the Neapolitan Crossroads Improring collective and play original pieces or new arrangements of jazz and rock classics in this ‘traditional‘ formation. Collective improvisation naturally plays a big role. The musical material is staged in an exciting and varied stream. The programme for South Tyrol also features compositions by Marcello Giannini, written for his recent CD, ‘Frammenti’, which was released in 2015 by Auand Records. The guitarist was born in 1982 and also plays in the Neapolitan multicultural band, Slivovitz, which will be performing during the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige.
