The Edi Nulz trio (described by Siegmar Brecher as a ‘combination of pure creativity, humour, and madness‘) branches off to perform as a duo in South Tyrol. Adam Julian Pajz, who normally takes care of the powerful rock riffs in the Edi Nulz trio, studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and at the Institute for Music and Performing Arts in Weimar. He’s been living in Berlin since 2011. Siegmar Brecher also studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, as well as at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. He leads the Jazzwerkstatt Graz and lives in Vienna. You really can’t pigeonhole Edi Nulz. You start off with what sounds like a pretty harmless one-track melody to then be suddenly thrown into a collective improvisational experiment: we doubt things will be any different during this concert.
