The South Tyrolean Folklore Museum at Dietenheim takes you to a journey through the region's rural world of the past. The Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige and the company Dr. Schär would like to invite you to musical museum tours and a concert in this appealing setting. Jazz musicians will play in duo at various musical spots during the guided tours and communicate with each other through improvisation. With a following concert, the festival will explore the wide fields of contemporary European jazz in a setting that pays a historical tribute to work on the fields and meadows. A food stand situated in the museum's park will provide snacks and refreshments during the break.
The "Fields of Jazz" project is organized in collaboration with Dr. Schär. In 2022 the company, who’s mission is to improve the lives of people with special nutritional needs, celebrates its 100th anniversary. A most worthy reason to celebrate together with a special event at the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige!
