#20 Barionda

The Italian word "Baraonda" means "quite a mess". If you want to know what this four baritone saxophones "are up to" you should enjoy a glass of wine at the Pfattener Ufer of Lake Caldaro this summer evening. One thing is certain: the quintet will be performing the works jazz history's most important baritone sax players, from Pepper Adams to Harry Carney and Gerry Mulligan. In addition, there are original compositions that were written for this instrumentation.
