#41,2 Die Strottern & JazzWerkstatt Wien

Contemporary folk music from Vienna: For many years, the Strottern have been searching for new ways of expression and new themes for the “Wienerlied“–the Viennese folksong. In cooperation with the JazzWerkstatt Wien, they have now enlarged. The former duo became a mini-big band with a rhythm section, wind instruments, electric guitar and piano. The Viennese folksong tradition is being transformed into a kind of Viennese jazz art song.
